Can't really blame dropping this tbh, it's a pretty... nothing series? The basic setup of it is already extremely contrived to the point where I fail to suspend my disbelief, and there's been barely any development in 7 chapters now.

I probably shouldn't take on another project right now, but I'm kinda tempted to pick this series up.
I've been interested in working on a multi-chapter translation project for a while now. Usually the biggest roadblock is finding access to scanned raws...

And is it really hard to accept people having two sides of themselves that they really can't show others who end up meeting someone else who also can't?,who then proceed to bond more over time whilst slowly opening themselves up more before finally opening it all when they finally get it on like Donkey Kong.

It's been seven chapters and this is actually faster when what some series do.

Its a shame that the series is being dropped.
But if possible can you guys just upload the raws here itself as Japanese versions? Maybe someone later might come across the raws later on and do the translations and I am hoping it won't be any rule violation on the site if you do so.

That's what's contrived about it.

Except in chapter one itself they make the system quite clear,with the meat facing the delinquent and the sweets facing the dame,anyone glancing wouldn't give it a second thought,some would even just assume both are eating bits of both anyway.

The screaming part ain't nothin' more then fanservice for the reader,considering how the Japs love their peace n' quiet in most settings,nothing more then standard noise levels in most places.

Also,as we saw,they even eat in places more hidden away from anyone who would know them,which is also the classic lead up to secret dating,they just haven't noticed it yet,albeit the princely dame lass is making the princess delinquent quake on her ass.

It's a pretty simple,straight forward mask,easily shattered by anyone actively choosing to look more then a glance,but that would require a third party that actually gives a damn to find out.

Voila,the potential drama for them to overcome,the very friction needed to make their rough story smoothen out.

That's what's contrived about it.

Yeah, I'm still confused what you find contrived or strains your suspension of disbelief even after you explained it...

That they can't enjoy their favourite foods alone? Well, they do, we're shown that in chapter one. They just end up feeling self-conscious due to their public image. Having a partner that understands that feeling of self-consciousness and partaking in the act alongside them helps curb the edge, and just lets them enjoy it further.

Is it that you're confused what the plan is if they get caught? I don't think it's that deep. I don't think they believe that anyone is scrutinizing them that closely. If someone does question them, they have plausible deniability. "We were just trying each other's food," for example. And as we saw in this chapter, "The president was helping me study."

Ignoring all of that, I think the obvious takeaway is that the incidentals don't even matter that much. The reason they keep going on dinner dates together is that they enjoy each other's company (and the food) and feel like they can be themselves around each other, which they don't feel capable of doing around others due to their status. That's kinda the whole point of the story, and why it's so clearly framed as a romcom. Just because the main characters don't explicitly realize their own reasons, doesn't mean it wasn't written that way to be true.
