Interesting contest. Cosmically, darkness is probably bigger/more important than water. In the world, though, especially the human world, water is life and darkness is a spooky sideshow. Plus the stuff doesn't really do anything much, normally, being immaterial and all. Water on the other hand . . . we'll see if your spooky darkness god can keep you alive when water is pissed off at you, boy.

The villains in this seem to have no sense of danger. Like every single one is all "This girl is beloved of a god. Why don't we fuck with her? What could possibly go wrong?"
