....yeah, I think it's ultimately an OK work. It started out promising, but in the end it just sort of... slowly wound down to nothing worth remembering. A balloon that slowly deflates and you're left with something flat at the end.

Enjoyable still. I quite appreciated basically every sequence of panels and pages that the artist used to demonstrate the passage of immense amounts of time, but honestly, it could have ended with the Executioner girl and likely would've been better for it.

No big explosions.
No grand tunes.
No rapid scenes.
Everything repeats slowly and more slowly.
Story told over uncountable time, freezing solid. Never to experience life again.

Thank you for translating this series, it was an entertaining story! While the calm end fits to the calm story telling seen before, I did hope they would explain more about X=Rei. I find it sad that we don't learn more about this world.
