Seems unlikely Azuma's into Mie given how supportive he's been of their relationship. If that's the case, he's already given up, but he doesn't seem like the kinda guy that would just surrender without a fight. Seems more likely he's into some other character that's yet to be introduced. I feel like the most common pattern with these seemingly mature ikemen types is that they're into some older chick who doesn't take them seriously because they're too young. And then they often get NTR'd by their older brother who's even hotter, smarter and more mature than them. Feels like it's gonna be something along those lines. Also, although Mie's a bit emotionally immature, she's clearly more into Komura than any other guy, expressing unambiguous jealousy etc. There is no way in hell she's ever gonna go for Azuma at this point. Her face at the end was her being flustered about the confession she almost walked in on and the hug, she wasn't sad or disappointed. She's slowly becoming more aware of romance as a concept and how it relates to her and Komura's relationship.
