The party acts like a pool of exp. Each goblin gives say 100 exp to every member of the party, each member adds that 100 to the parties pool. So a solo adventurer gets 100, a party of 2 gets 200 and so on. The MC is in a party with his slimes totalling 4 members, so thats 400 exp per goblin. Its also stated so long as your in the party you get full exp from the fight. The math doesn't math up here. If he defeats a monster alone, like the goblins from previous chapter, he gets 100xp to share, but the others that haven't touched it wouldn't get that 100xp to share, right? So how does he end up with 400xp, and not just 100xp per monster? Even if we consider that all the slimes may gang up on one while he's busy with others, that's 300xp and they would be slower.
...AT THIS AGE, I JUST GET EMOTIONAL EASILY...
But then the remote party guy getting 100xp doesn't make sense, if it's a party of 2 they should both get 200xp no matter who is active in the fight according to your explanation...The party acts like a pool of exp. Domination is a low level skill, that has a low success rate against low level mobs; the MC has Domination of All Things, a unique skill as far as we know.Yet in the first chapter we know they already understand the skill domination to only be controlling weak monsters, and it’s called a bad skill. So has literally NO ONE EVER TAMED 10 SLIMES AND LEVELED UP 10 TIMES AS FAST?!??! What the fuck happened to all the other adventurers who had this skill?!?!
This does not change the fact of the exp sharing that is the major issue here. Why hasn’t someone tamed 10 slimes and leveled 10 times as fast? The writing on this either has to dig into or justify the depth of the skill or sufficiently leave room for worldbuilding that allows justification later. If there is a concept of skills that is available to be read off with its limits then why was the receptionist not able to read off what the MC’s skill was and see the difference? Do the skills have levels within themselves? As of right now nothing is supported or supporting itself.Domination is a low level skill, that has a low success rate against low level mobs; the MC has Domination of All Things, a unique skill as far as we know.
