Thanks for the update. Its honestly refreshing to see MCs reaction. She WAS ready to throw the plot away ONLY if the heroine didn't show up. MC even admits she was willing to be a little greedy, just the mere fact the heroine exists though is also a reminder of her potential death so she HAS to let Elios go. You can honestly feel the exhaustion from MC

The situation seems reversed from the movie she was in. Elios was supposed to love Hitomi, but Nguyet pulled a Bakarina & accidently became his love interest. If a tragedy happens, It will be when she ignores his feelings.
