Hmmm.. idk, I think you need to see the context first. Most Rofan where female MC being inside BL novel usually did not tried to "fix" thing and when they did it usually when the character related is their friend/sibling and their fate being in relationship is the worst (because, well, just like hetero relationship, homosexual relationship can also toxic).
In this case, MC is a commoner in need of special medicine wasted by the BL male character. What the best thing she could do anyway? The worst trope of this kind of story probably the clueless MC and their strong believe that the BL characters will always be homosexual, not bi.

I read some manhwa, where the BL became a hetero romance because of the FL. But most of the times it didn't give weird vibe, because it was so well built in the sense, that why the ML falls in love with someone. It is just that the ML falls in love with the who give him love/care etc., and it doesn't matter, if the person is a woman or a man. And it's just happens, that the OG story was a BL.
(And of course I would happy to read stories, where it's the other way around. It's just that I didn't find one yet.)
