I like how the author didn’t just have the girl die. No one knowing the truth about this place makes it more interesting and less trite.

Well other than being able to cover it up or them having no relatives, it would be an issue for someone to report their daughter/friend missing if they knew the far camp location but I would’ve expected some demon or parasite takeover too

Sadly it’s a semi-popular horror trope to ignore all that and go the cannibalism route. Then again, maybe I’ve just been reading too many dumb stories.

i guess that'd be 'efficient' but also dependent on 'failures' considering some do 'graduate' and them having pics of celebs who went thru the 'treatment' assuming they aren't lying about it/faking photos
