I think you guys need a second proofreader , one like after she says Dr Park the name gets written as Bak

Hm I’m guessing the water and “special sauce” is some kinda drug to make the hallucinate what they eat but even then surely they can provide like steamed veggies and boiled chicken versus “rotten” meat unless it’s also implied that the meat comes from the “disappearing” members

I looked at the raws there’s like over 40 chapters and we see from the cover she does get skinny unless that’s an “illusion” but I wonder if by then she’d be too far gone or sucked into it to where she has to go back every year and keep paying or it’d be a rebound/the medicine is only available in that club (or it’ll move on to a pov of another girl if not an investigator/see what happens to the “missing” ppl/dropouts)

And interesting there’s no men other than the trainer (even tho she said she wasn’t sure of Dr parks gender)

actually, there was that guy from chapter one. We haven’t seen him since, which is weird.

Considering the mc brings up how the water doesn’t work, and that she had weird symptoms, I wonder if she’s hallucinating most of the facility too. Assuming that the Doctor has visual hypnosis (kinda like the poster), I wonder if the mc was hypnotized before she even ended up in the clinic.

also, other than using people as gueina pigs, I wonder what the Doctor actually wants. Sure sure, it’s a cult, but there’s got to be more.

Tho, if this was a real clinic, even with the side effects I bet ppl would still go which also adds to the horror esp in a country like Korea where you wouldn’t see as many obese ppl on the streets compared to America , but while the “suggested” weight goal wasn’t too underweight I wonder if someone wrote “as much as possible” and ended up dying

I can totally imagine this becoming a movie

They did put up pics of “success” stories like celebs so I can totally imagine the “poor” ppl or ones with no families /ppl that’d miss them being “sacrificed” so that the rich ppl could continue using their services (tho super rich ppl could just get lipo i guess but I suppose losing the weight “naturally” versus surgery might make ur body look better

But phone dying aside with all the “confusing” signs at the beginning it’s possible this isn’t the clinic she was supposed to go to and this is a fake out that lures other ppl

I’m sure the “no talking rule” is gonna be a factor soon as well
