I always felt this was gonna be short lived. It's just a premise that's hard to swallow for a 'wholesome' comedy. Street childrens... why are teens homeless?
It's hard to imagine a 'cute' answer to this question but if the author dodged the question forever then it'll just get boring and frustrating to read.
This should have been a comedy about deadbeat young adult or a dark comedy, not a "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things" type of manga.
Doomed by mismatching the genre with the premise.

I think it's also because companies and stores don't want to look like they're promoting alcohol culture to people who are under age... It'd look like they were going "here kids, practice with this until you can get away with buying the real thing!"

Again? Is this really happening again? First #I'm Looking For Zombie and now this. Why does it seem like Katsuwo can't get a series running nowadays? Not to mention this one was even shorter than Looking For Zombie too.

This especially hurts given I really liked this one. I was invested in the characters and their dynamics with each other. And was looking forward to the explorations of their pasts that lead them to each other.

Please for the love of god can Katsuwo's next work be something that won't just end prematurely, leaving me with more questions than answers 🙏.
