This is like the opposite of how a mystery works. He’s already solved the crime, now he just has to wait for the killer to confirm his vision.

Although we don’t know who the dead schoolgirl is for sure, so there could be a twist there. Maybe it’s Arase in a skirt and wig, baiting the killer into revealing himself!

While this case seems obvious, one has to think there's some twist to it. There's already been stuff in the story that isn't as obvious as the surface suggests.

A big theme in this story is character backstories, and you're going to need them to understand what's really going on in this case. It does get a bit deep.

Protagonism? Huh? As much as I dislike it, I thought Asagiri would be his endgame. I've seen it happen too many times. Oregairu being the WORST offender. (I always preferred Yui, but knew he'd end up with Yukino. It was painfully obvious.) That aside of course the one I like, Kurase, is the reason why this manga is failing. ;_;
