[/In the first place, this prince is just a powerful, abusive, immature, impulsive, pervert who cannot comprehend his feelings, and at the same time while hurting her, wants to protect her. WHAT? There are way too many contradictions for me to be happy with this character. Not wanting to criticize the author, but it's like she smashed together the worst aspects of a cold prince and an selfish asshole.
Second, the female character is nothing special. She's strong, I will give her that. But it doesn't make me happy to see her so powerless in her situation. LIKE SO MANY OTHER CHARACTERS WHO ALL END UP WITH THEIR TORMENTOR ANYWAYS. It's really predictable, and so is the plot. People get jealous, harm her, or are planning to harm her, she's rescued by the prince, who, in turn becomes a tsundere jerk, and leaves her, humiliated. It's probably going to be like this until romance starts to actually develop. And it will only be the girl falls in love, or appears to be the only one, and is insecure about her relationship with the guy. Then after some bumps along the way and a couple more schemes of plotting people, they get married or something.
Maybe I'll pick it back up when it's like chapter 50 or something and hope she's developed some sort of super power, the prince grows up and develops a conscience, or she becomes totally badass.]
Sorry for the rant, and I apologize if I this contradicts with your opinion, but I'm so tired of seeing this type of story everywhere.

The first season for this is a little rough and can definitely turn some people off in the beginning due to the amount of abuse/violence/bullying, but this is what helps to paint a picture of the cruel and messed up society that the characters live in.

This all leads up to a civil war between vampires and humans, which breaks out at the end of Season 1. The two main characters actually break up. However, they reconcile in Season 2 and work together to bring an end to the war. The girl isn't a weak "damsel in distress" at this point: she's a strong warrior who is second-in-command on the Human side. After that, Season3 reverts back to the typical school setting, but humans are treated as equals with Vampires, rather than lesser beings.

The whole story isn't too unique, but the artwork for this series is beautiful, and the author does a good job of character development, in my humble opinion.

Don't let the partial start that's on mangadex fool you! It is a very good story!! I looooved it so much that I want to buy the actual volumes even though I can't read chinese. The art is beautiful and the story made me cry a lot! My heart ached for them so much through all 3 seasons. Ended well too.

The villains are pretty good, even though one villain can't even wash a dish properly, that villain became so intelligent to the point the MC team became dumb and fell into a trap.

The ending is happy ending.

READ WITH CAUTION!!! ughhhhhhh The Female lead is sooooo freaking pathetic and weak...I started reading it because someone in the comments mentioned below that it gets better and she becomes stronger...BUUUUULLLLLLLLL SHi***** is what I say to that!! She is beyond weak and stupid! Oh and she faints for the smallest thing and this is not an exaggeration!

it being revealed that she has the white witches blood in her and trains for like 2 years yet she still manages to ALWAYS get her butt kicked or kidnapped, out of all the fights she got in I think only once did she beat up the guys and it was JUST twice and one of those times doesn't really count because she runs off and ends up letting her guard down only to get choked and caught just to be rescued ONCE AGAIN, all the other times she gets kidnapped and beaten up, even get's her man poisoned because of her stupid stupidity!

Another annoying thing is during the first 100 chapters where

she gets almost killed twice by the male leads brother, even the after he stabs her and her brother knocking him unconscious and her thinking he is in a comma for 2 years,she still decides to keep it a secret from the male lead and not tell him why she did what she did but instead just cries sorry

ugh those parts felt suffocating like STOP FREAKING HOLDING BACK AND SPEAK YOU imbecile!!!
The female lead is pathetic and weak HOWEVER she later makes a friend who I had hoped they would do a sequel with her being the main lead and showing her and her crush, now she was smart and brave! Plus the art is beautiful OHHH and there is also another two characters who I really shipped and made the story tolerable.

OH and the ending has a few open questions not answered...ughh especially chapter 193
