I’m pretty annoyed that he didn’t hold her accountable for doing all that behind his back. All that “ I did it so you didn’t have to get your hands dirty” BS is just a cop-out.
She didn’t trust him enough to tell him and didn’t want to risk losing all of the advantages she gained from having him around. That’s why it was a secret.
He was pretty clear early on that he didn’t want the knowledge he had shared to be used for war. In hindsight that was naive, sure, but that was his clear position at the time and it was completely disregarded.
In the end it seems everyone knew about it but him and he’s apologizing to them!?!?! Dude… get a backbone. You don’t have to abandon them but there should be consequences ffs…
