Great start, both main characters are interesting. I specially like how naïve, dumb and adorable Pi is.

the scenes are impactful. most of the picture are really bright ,simple and happy. so when they made a dark, detailed and horrific scene it delivers.

this would've gone even worse if Takopi doesn't understand the concept of Human Death IMMEDIATELY. He might as well imagine Shizuka just hibernating and would've waited until someone finds the body and confirms the death while he's around.
