the scenes are impactful. most of the picture are really bright ,simple and happy. so when they made a dark, detailed and horrific scene it delivers.

this would've gone even worse if Takopi doesn't understand the concept of Human Death IMMEDIATELY. He might as well imagine Shizuka just hibernating and would've waited until someone finds the body and confirms the death while he's around.

Had I relied purely on the synopsis, that an alien wanted to make a little girl happy, it sounds so childish and I wouldn't have read this. I have never been so wrong and so glad that I was after reading this first fucking chapter.

I honestly didn't see her committing suicide coming honestly. I thought she would actually become friend with them somehow and it might come back to bite her. Then it got to the suicide then I thought oh did she kill her bully then suicide, then I realize it's (probably) just her mom
