Shizuka's is an archetype I'm partial to. "Innocent Monster". Her sociopathy (is that the right term?) truely knows no bounds due to her upbringing...
That being said, Azuma's really gone through some horrible psychological torture from his mom. To her it might not seem like much but to him it meant the world. She's basically broken a part of him without even realizing.
I hope he rises rather than falls.
