Best solution for people not buying "abnormal" products, is to have them educated by first hand experience on the farm, because there's literally no difference between them.

I swear to ancient ones, when I was a shop owner, people would discard a product even if it had a slight discoloration between what they seen in the picture book they saw in the kindergarten.
Buying pure yellow bananas, not knowing by vast majority that the dots indicate they're now ready to eat.
Same goes for "when fruit/vegetable is hard as a rock = ready to eat", which is usually that it's too early picked and unripe... yuck...

Kosaka design is pretty neat, horizontal stripe stockings rule!
