acid didnt work(slime is alkaline aka high in ph value like soap.) the idea was to neutralize it. bringing it closer to water.
what did work was salt. like slugs. they shrivel up.

On the aggregator sites, this is "Chapter 17", while the Chapter listed here as "Chapter 11" is "Chapter 15", so we are either missing "Chapter 12" (with this being "Chapter 13") or "Chapter 12.1" (with this being "Chapter 12.2") by your numbering.

On the original site, the current chapter is 60, with 58 and 59 still open. Unfortunately, the latest aggregator chapter I can find is 57, so I can't compare to tell if your numbering or the aggregator numbering is accurate.

Not sure if it's just a redraw mistake or something else, but the image of Emma on the cover has what looks like 4 or 5 lines of scars on her once wounded cheek.

So yeah, she may not of gotten off as cleanly as we would normally assume for this kind of story.

it's consistent, you can check every volume cover after volume 2 and the lines are there, so we can assume she got some spiderweb shaped scars on her body (face/neck and arm, probably). And that's odd tbh, like why did her wounds form in that shape specifically and not some generic burn wounds from the acid, hope they explain that

No clue, but it is consistent with the wound after they were washed and before Violet bandaged said wounds.
