LOL "echigoya" sounds like a familiar name, was he a villain in historical japan time or just known as a sleazy merchant if not selfish lol--In which case if he was named after a 'terrible' known person you'd think that'd make him more wary unless you'd think they were also a chuuni and choosing some historical name like Napoleon for themselves lol

(surprised tanaka didn't question him having a Japanese name unless the author didn't wanna give everyone a 'western'/non asian name lol)

His stats are shortened in exponential notification, which means you move the decimal the number of digits to the right to get the whole number.

For example, 1.05E12 is 1,050,000,000,000

His real stats are in trillions.

Echigoya is what evil Japanese merchant typically called in dramas and stuff, that's why it sounds familiar.

I guess MC didn't rly pay attention in history class (although i guess unless it's a current rumor like "don't make deals with merchant from X guild, or him having a monopoly not much you can do about it) versus it just seeming like a 'cool' name to use like if you were an Otherworlder and heard someone calling themselves billy the kid

oh, i see, shamed no one explained it to him (but it is a weird way of writing it lol) but i guess it's good he didn't accidentally drown/give himself burn scars unless magic casters are immune to their own spells, tho other than doing cliche stuff like subjugating some monsters if he thinks he's weak and gonna die /be crippled from like one hit, he should go to some desert areas and use his water spell to sell jars /supplies there lol (though at the very least you'd think he'd be roped into construction and realizing that he can pick up some heavy lumber 'easily' or so then again the strength might be messed up in the world if a 'toddler' can defeat a horned rabbit)
