This manga is a perfect example of "backstory doesn't matter" cause his whole sad life backstory serves no purpose cause there's nothing to really say "well now that I've changed my sad life is no more" and its mostky cause theres only fighting with ppl that didn't know him....maybe his backstory gonna do something in the future
