Slowest of burn, seem we have the luxury to have side characters progression when the MCs are in such a mess. Where to begin ? Uta is a coward who remid me of Mei, do her best to run away when it seem obvious that Kaoru need her to stay. Uta right now is a mix of Mei ad Yuu, the Yuu part is that she try to act like it's over and get far as possible of Kaoru because it's too painful but girl you can't solve your problems if you just turn your back on it. Now on Kaoru, her feelings is a mess and her family unity is an utopia at this point, Uta had romantic feeligs for her but she reject her and Rei didn't have feelings anymore (if he had it to begin with) but she keep him even if she know he cheat on her. Kaoru really need someone to rely on because right now i don't see how it can end without Kaoru's suicide. The whole Rei's cheatig situation need to blow up asap for Uta to realise that Kaoru need her and for Kaoru to realise her husband is just a dick. As for the chapter in itself i don't really care, one is insecure and the other is a douche in redemption.

I really hope the author goes on the side quickly because the MC situation is far for being solved as this rate.

@gonn92 Iirc Kaoru saw him with an another woman (who is friend with her) whe he said he was in business trip, it's why Kaoru is in such mess. The man she married cheat on her with a friend and her sister-in-law said she love her but Kaoru kinda reject her and Uta decide cowardly to run away.

Also i giggle at Uta saying to Rei to take care of the garbage and the bag is about to break, it's quite the analogy with the current situation.

@GruntZone360 Yeah she had a right to run but she run away like a coward to me, she assume (legitimately at this time) that Uta will be fine with Rei for the moment but even if you let the whole cheating situation aside, Kaoru have no family left and Uta/Rei were the only one she can call family right now. Uta run away only because Kaoru don't want to return the romatic feelings but it's not like she doesn't like Uta anymore. I just want Uta to learn about her brother cheating Kaoru to see what she gonna do.

You gonna excuse me if i overreact on this one but the whole situation got on my nerves.

What the hell happened to the focus of this manga?
This isn't about Uta and Kaoru anymore, but about the two supporting character's romance. I'm not saying that the relationship between the supporting characters is particularly bad but rather really annoying when it interrupts the main story from progressing. Whenever I see those supporting characters show up, I always think "welp, there won't be anything interesting for the next 2-3 months, yay".
I really hope that the next chapter will conclude their ""little"" sidestory and that the manga full on focuses on the relationship between Uta and Kaoru (you know, the reason most of us started reading this manga).

That relationship seems to have improved a whole lot. But I can't make heads nor tails of that nonsense the writer made Kuroe think before they started their date. And that Valentine's chocolate four-course menu was way out of bounds. I am very envious.

Man, I like this Kuro and whatever her name is couple but I really wish that Kuro had a decent reason for her commitment issues instead of her stupid forced father thing. I still enjoy this manga though!

@Pachka84, from what I can tell, the monologue she had before the start of her date was about her past thoughts about love before entering her relationship with whatsherface (and, judging by her hesitation at the end of the chapter, possibly her current thoughts as well?). Basically she's saying that she would prefer a familial friend-like relationship with someone over a romantically charged one. The whole Uta having unrequited feelings for Kaoru thing kind of distracts from the meaning of her comparison but if you take it like she's just talking about Uta and Kaoru living together as a family without factoring in Uta's feelings for her it makes sense.
