My exact thoughts after that tree chapter. I think it could've been a good manga except it's leaning too much into "Aho-girl" territory where it's mostly infuriating rather than funny.

Its just the same as series like 'Eminence in the shadow' or 'One punch man' theres a retard who does stupid shit and everything goes good for them.

There are several series in that style and they really are mostly annoying cause there are no stakes. Is just MC sweeping with sheer luck.

Dont read Evil space Overlord, is the worse in this style.

In Silica case, its supposed to be funny cause she is a retard who does stupid shit and everything goes bad for them.

But i dont have enought simpathy for her to care if things go wrong when she leveled a city.

But speaking of, if you were talking about Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoshu, that guy's a different case: for all his posturing as and explicitly stated intention toward evil, he keeps doing good. He never was inherently evil. This is way different from the likes of Silica, who's not only psychopathically stupid (i.e., evil), she acts on that state of being as a rule.

like really im sorry this sometimes gets a a breath of air from me its mostly just the ubsurdness of this that keeps me reading but every so often it gets a small reaction out of me it helps that i can tell reality from fantasy and know that none of its real.

In other words, you took what I said personally because it applies to you. If it does not--if it is wrong--then there's no need for indignation, now, is there?

That being said I disagree: not only am I not being a "dick", what I'm saying is on the mark. Indeed, fiction is just that--fiction, what is not factual. However, it's based on reality to some degree, and therefore fictional stories paint a picture that's meant to be processed in the reader's mind via imagination. Even the most unrealistic stories are still meant to be parsed by the reader's mind for the purpose of entertainment.

Fiction isn't real, obviously--but what it depicts, and how you're supposed to regard it, very much are. There's nothing to say about Silica killing people in a wanton manner--it's psychopathic. However, the manga presents that as just one of many psychopathic actions, done purely for the sake of psychopathy, that you're meant to consider amusing. There's nothing else to it in this manga--psychopathy for psychopathy's sake, branded as "comedy", and intended to be reflected in the reader's mind to that reader's amusement. You may not have thought that far about it--many don't. That doesn't change the facts that that's what this manga is made of, that it's meant to amuse people who are entertained by the idea of psychopathy for psychopathy's sake, and that it gives you the chuckles.

If you're upset enough by what I said to sling an insult my way, perhaps you should do some introspection. If that leads you to turn away from this manga, it wouldn't be a bad thing--there's tons of better ones out there.
