Oh, about the power levels you explained here: genetics are supposed to be random, to a point, so it wouldn't make sense for only the higher classes to have better genetics by virtue of their statuses, which are a social construct.
But maybe I didn't catch something and I'm wrong? I liked it anyways so it's ok

I think a good comparison would be hair color. A couple with black hair will most likely not have a baby with blonde hair. It is posible, but realy realy rare. And the part with social status could be because of their separation that the status is mostly from bloodline and stuff like that.
