It seems to be a case of "single target sexuality", I learned this term from someone very dear to me IRL whose partner medically transitioned after years into their relationship.

They didn't divorce at all even though everyone thought they would.

They are still together years later, they never fought over the transition, and never cheated on each other.

When asked if they are bisexual now, they say:

"We love each other for who we are, not for what we are, if we ever divorced, or one of us left this world first, we would never find anyone else like them".

They are awesome people, I legit envy how much they are in control of their lives.
