Theory: Fill is actually an AI whose reinforcement training model for interacting with women included rewards for making her blush and penalties for allowing her to entertain an independent thought, and the prevalence of apparently robotic characters is meant to foster a thought provoking environment in which the audience is led to wonder "Who is the real robot?"
