The only odd part about this chapter to me is that the current event took place 6 months after the wedding.

They could have annul the slave contract sooner, but decided to do it now.

The bandit explained that they can't attack them, when either or both parents is present so the bandit don't want to be massacre. So it at least check out.

I don't get the point of dragging the day of the bandit attacking 6 months after the wedding, to me it could have been shorten to 1 week or 2 and it would make no difference.

They wanted to become noble raise their status to protect their family, and make it easy to investigate people who framed Elsa (MC explain it in the previous chapter) Noble have immunity and protection from certain legal issue, that certainly to make easier for the families life.

And you can't be a Noble if you have slave mark
