In terms of resources, the story should present how MC strong enough to produce resources (wood, metal, or food) first before this arc but this arc just shown how his kindness only even he already old enough to understand (I also bored Isekai often make MC their thoughts so young even he adult).

Judging by the art, Inoue Natsumi (the artist for this manga) is a fan of Adam Warren (Empowered, Dirty Pair, Gen13, Livewire) or maybe vice-versa. Bobble-head Arse and the twins have a lot of the exact same facial expressions as Lollipop-era Emp.

At this point i just accept everybody in this story is so braindead stupid that the MC being just slightly dimwitted makes him a genius in comparison. The guy who compared this to a Disney level story was spot on.

I mean, come on. executing all of these soldiers would earn them enough animosity to last a century from the people in that land. Not that i agree with recruiting them, but take the bigger fish prisoner and let the smaller ones go while taking away their weapons and armor.

ransoming is also a good idea not only for money but for the castle to surrender (if her father loves her)
