Reverse is true for male characters.

Depends, some hgames designate "nude skin" as the 999def. But most non-hentai marks the swimsuit bikini the highest stat 999def. Since if you remove bikini armor, you have the invincible, unremovable 0 def underwear.

For men, yea, wear the thickest armor you can find, it should be 999def. Men's swim trunks are normally 1 or 2 def. Sadly.

In Kamidori, the high-end armor is actually clothes that gets removed the lower your HP fall. Which in turn gives you a power boost. The logic is that as the heroines get gradually more naked, they will fight harder to cover themselves. Why? Because being naked is embarassing, ofc!
