Well I think the translation was off. Usually they are just referred as Octogram or Eight-Star Demon Lords. Even in the anime they were just Octogram.

Yeah, I believe it should have been formatted like one of their skills or titles with a sub-title like so,

Also, I like Rising Star better than Newbie for Rimuru, however inaccurate it is. It fits better since he named them after the stars!
