Yeah something is definitely up with the TL. They never said anything about the monster may be a former human or sentient too so it suddenly acted like that feels a lil bit too convenient.

I don't think the monster's sentience being a sudden thing at the end is a TL thing, it's probably meant as some form of surprise/twist moment for a larger mystery, which is why the author didn't bother to have it talk until right before its death.

Continually calling the monster "he" when it has visible boobs is probably a TL thing, though.

It's one thing when names change between groups because they have their own idea of how it'd be spelled with letters instead of Japanese characters, but for the same group to be changing names from chapter to chapter (even worse, page to page) is kinda pants-on-head MTL territory.

Wow, this author can't make up his mind about the MC. One moment he says he's incomparable to Lili just because she's young, and a child's body doesn't define experience. Now he glorifies her as "the true sword saint," even though the protagonist himself admitted he would defeat her if he were in an adult body. I'm getting confused about what he's really trying to achieve in this story, since the protagonist himself doesn't seem like a reincarnated adult at any point, with so much information changing.

I'm not complaining about him being weak or not being an op, I'm just outraged by the lack of coherence between the chapters.

Yeah I’m glad someone mentioned something, I thought I was up to date with this and am catching up and this power scaling is a complete mess. I don’t think they grounded the power levels in any meaningful way in the first place. Not to mention this arc pushed the crisis so far beyond where it shouldn’t just been deus ex machina’d by someone strong finally arriving.

It’s like if you want the tension you need to pay it off with more than what will likely be all flesh wounds, if you want them to grow or to maybe build rapport with the other characters then why were they trapped for so long? If you want to glaze MC then why was it so long and what is he even meant to be capable of in a 10 yo body.

If this had been wrapped up with them going in the dungeon to being saved in 3 chapters I would also be less annoyed.
