That was forced as hell. I just read all of Terror Man, and if one thing was clear was that father and son had a rather cold relationship. They cared for one another, but not in a passionate way that would make them completely lose reason after one died. If it was Lilia that'd be different, but this reaction just doesn't make sense.
"I was only able to hold off because there was one person that believed in me!" what the hell, since when is this person his Dad.
Makes me angry they keep messing up the character like that.
