Not exactly fellow trope-hater.
She's subjectively one or two steps better than the lesbian guard dog.
The reason I hate the trope so much is the hypocrisy. They're annoying, bratty, and incredibly territorial. But above all. Hypocrites. Staving away "lustful men" when they are LITERALLY aiming for the same thing.
What makes this one different? She's not a hypocrite lesbian. She still has the potential to be really annoying if she over exerts her "guard simp" maneuvers. But for now, her worries are technically founded as the mc was spying on the heroine, and the heroine was getting overwhelmed with the overwhelming amount of curious students. Time will tell in writing if she is a good egg, or an annoying one.
