By reincarnating different elementals into mortal flesh he created new races: High Elves(wind), High Dwarfs(earth), Enki(fire) and Sirens(water).

If my memory of the WN version is correct, it's about who woke up earlier. Basically while Luminous was created earlier than him, she woke up later than Ashley, and thus "lived" less.

Did he even was in WN? I thinking it was LN version of her backstory, that was later expanded and get different novels.

The original story of this manga was a side story WN which took place on the LN timeline. It was announced as part of the 10th year anniversary celebration and was started a little bit later.

There are somdifferenceses between that WN version and this manga though. Melbaba was not present in the novel version and Cyrus wasn't kidnapped by Ashley either, if my memory is correct.
