No offense taken. Mimimi/Meme and Nano/Shizuka have always felt more like a blossoming, special kind of friendship—the kind that would make even "BFF" feel like a lacking term to describe it. The latter even more so than the former as of the time of this comment, due in no small part to the "Shizuka's mother" arc.

So even as a fervent enjoyer of any and all interactions between Nano and my absolute favorite girlfriend Shizuka, I have zero problems acknowledging that after this chapter, Nano/Mimimi is hands down the pairing that deserves to eventually reach Hakari/Karane levels of going beyond friendship (y'know, minus the whole "belligerent sexual tension" part ).
