I meant the 'teacher' part took longer than expected. The majority of the Manga takes place in a school, so I was surprised a teacher didn't get involved a long time ago.

In regards to illegality, a bit of googling states that, though the age of consent is 13, romantic or sexual relations between a teacher and student are prohibited by law. And this boozed up tent dweller of an ethics teacher went from 0 to let's shag a student real fast.

I am mildly concerned that this Google came directly after googling passport and vaccine requirements for Japan travel. I'm gonna be on a list now aren't I?
