I think it might be closer to his ability to just not being able to use magic, but given that he has 10 fucken curses both could be a result of a curse.

I always found it weird that was supposed to train to be stronger yet never had any progress with mana. A curse stopping him from using mana makes more sense tbh.

Welp, that vision makes abundantly clear that - despite the silhouetting and censored text - the origin of this curse is his Father (given the mother says baby Ronan looks like him). The reaction to the family is interesting... I wonder if he was a part of the secret evil organization?

Seems likely that the curses attempt to limit the MCs power, but even with 10 uber curses his physical strength is unmatched. I'm guessing these curses will slowly be shed (since the professor said she ran out of mana after just one) and used to power up the MC and reveal some nugget of info.

Or they might just do a curse breaking arc and hit them all in one go, but that seems too predictable.

It could be also that the MC himself was the one who put the curse on himself I know a bit of crack pot. Or some baddy that used the Father appearance to get to baby MC And curse him.
