official publisher. Paywalls manga. lets you get a "free" chapter a day or something but divides the chapters into 4 so you can't actually read the whole thing.

well for starters, a better official publisher isn't going to get it.
and getting an official publisher usually means scanslaters drop it before the official publisher finds and starts sending out C&D's.

Same. Comikey and MangaUp are like the worst publishers to get official TL.

a publisher getting the lisense is basically a death sentence for a translators project.

So were now at a mercy on a corporation that basically either paywalls the shit out of us or translates when they feel like it, great, another W for readers.

I know it’s hindsight, but it is funny how people thought this was getting killed on this site, when it’s still going strong two years later, thanks to Crab bars.

Anyway, both Crab bars and Scylla Scans have done decent sl work for this series. For every chapter that had both work on it, I read both translations, and sometimes one felt smoother, while other times the other did, and both together helped me to understand the context of scenes better than if I read only one, in many cases.

Also, I came to this after having watched the anime. I don’t think there’s any new material here- I’d probably have to read the novels -but it’s still neat to see the story in print form. I look forward to the second season they announced, whenever it’s coming.
