Ah, nevermind. Looks like the start of this chapter, where he has a conversation with Mahiru, is where the first episode ends (if only because that conversation is at the end of her cleaning visit from Ch.3's anime adaptation in Ep1). So what happened was the conversation about Itsuki's issues with his father pertaining to his relationship with Chitose got moved to a later point in the anime (because I totally remember it came up, but it didn't involve him coming over to play games like during this Chapter).
It's also where the second episode begins, because that opens with Mahiru sitting in a park/playground having just rescued a cat, as well, and with a sprained ankle.
So far, the anime adaptation is fairly faithful at recreating key moments that the manga is also adapting, it's just rearranging dialog (and a slight rearrangement and omission of a few minor scenes) and leaving out some of Amane's internal thoughts at certain points that help to frame moments a bit better in the manga.
