From reading the mangaka's other work, the first girl introduced typically doesn't end up with the MC. Yuhei and drummer girl feel so similar to Koyuki and Maho from Beck, I'd be surprised if the author didn't pair them before the manga's completion.

I thought so too, but maybe he wants to go a different route so as to not make the manga too similar to Beck? Idk, drummer girl and childhood friend gave a lot of flags this chapter but maybe they'll just be friends. Yuuhei i for sure don't think is going to end up with the first girl though.
