Its not that their bones are too little its the implications that its FREE FLOATING 💀 biologically and anatomically speaking those bones are useless since theyre not connected to the spine
tbf aren't our arms free floating too by that definition? there's no actual bone connection at the shoulders. Its not that their bones are too little its the implications that its FREE FLOATING 💀 biologically and anatomically speaking those bones are useless since theyre not connected to the spine
and guess which part of the body gets dislocated and fractured easily? In actuality majority of the bones in our body is not connected to each other in the sense that its welded or melded together, those types of joints are exclusive to the skull. The common image we have when we hear joints and the like are the shoulder, elbow or hip but they are held together by ligaments but are still gonna contact each other due to angular motion. The interesting part is that the shoulder joint sacrifice stability for mobility. Fun-fact we only have one free floating bone in our body called the hyoid bonetbf aren't our arms free floating too by that definition? there's no actual bone connection at the shoulders.
