IMO kinda feels like the alcohol prank was just a way of skipping showing another two big scenes of Tsukiyama beating strong amateurs, but then again I guess the narrative justification (avoiding standing out TOO much) makes sense and it also lets the author skip having to have TOO much of showing everyone in the Shogi world being all “who the hell is this guy”.

Which lets us skip ahead to the really exciting part which is Tsukiyama against Pros.

albeit narratively padded a bit by the vampire hunter girl, no idea what the author is planning for her, hope it’s cool
