So basically people who can literally destroy buildings with their fists and can take punches that can shatter entire stone columns and walk them off, but are powerless in front of a gun...

I know I didn't read this expecting good writing, but I didn't expect something so stupid. It reads like gun control advocate's wet dream. "Oh look at how wicked and unhonorable this homeless man with a gun is, as dangerous as 'literal-living-god' man!"

Reminds me of this in terms of stupidity

@primsul If you want something approaching an in-world explanation, it's probably something like intent and focus being a key component in breaking apart stones with bare hands and the like. It's noted in some of the training chapters.

But yeah, this is totally just a setup to make that one asshole easy to despise. It works!

He's not powerless at all in front of a gun (he can even beat multiple guys armed with AK-47), it's just he was completely caught by surprise, he didn't paid attention because of the hate he has for this old man.

Tunnel vision much.

Its not that they are weak in front of a gun
Its just that, in the heat of the moment our guy was busy powering up
and that sneaky sun of a ***** whips out a gun literally in a murim fist battle
Its not weak

From the day I first saw him, I knew he was going to end up doing some sped shit like this at the most critical moment. Talk about a bland character, Glasses's whole personality is his "big brother."
