Seeing all those warships packed together like that looked weird. I get that there's no long range missiles being used, but not even WW2 navies did something as crazy as charging forward with every ship on a river. Are those cannons for show or something?
I guess the author wanted to make the battle look like as if a cavalry army gets trapped from the rear and the front while getting ambushed by archers on the side. The author did not succeed with their intentions in my opinion.
It's hard to stay focus and keep reading with thoughts like this.
