Tbh it does show something here tho, because of his constant interference they've become unable to defend themselves even against a single attack from the Imperial army, I think he's cradled them a bit too much(I get it tho, I don't want any cute ant people to die either) but maybe he should been there to help them train up for times he cannot be there. I think that would be the responsible thing to do.
