THERE WE GO, that one thing I was waiting to get mentioned which was mc's complacency about others due to him being powerful/them being outside of his family or faction, had they not mention this complacency of his, I would've think that this was another braindead murim only caring about mc.

I give this chapter a 10/10 cause even the alliance leader had his moment sadly he got sacrificed for character development

At least he realized he could've stopped this mess if he just looked at the girl as someone who was in trouble instead of an enemy. Really hope that he learns from this. Thanks for the chapter!!!

I really wish he had just stopped this mess, then went at it with the alliance leader, the leader was such a great character that got ruined.

I totally understand your frustration. And I think that the frustration is intentional. We, the audience, are supposed to feel angry and frustrated that all this tragic death was avoidable from the start. Earlier, they make reference to how the black sword alliance or whatever kills bandits and only collects protection, not irredeemable acts. Hence, the setup was there for some kind of mutual understanding with the MC and even some kind of friendship around martial arts obsession. But, tragically, it was all ruined by the MC and the Alliance leader both being arrogant and complacent.
