I really love their relationship and how much they've grown. I really hope we get a series where they're actual adults and see how things progress from there as well.
There's a movie coming next year are you excited ^^ I know it's going to be a recap but at least we get new footage. Apparently I did read something about it being 10 years in the future or something. I kind of don't want to watch it but at the end of season 2 they did say "This is the story of how we fell in love"💓

I wonder if they're going to just have movies/OVAs after this, if they're going to cram everything post-season 2 into this one movie (implying this manga is nearly over), or if they're going Anime-Only Ending.

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Movie (MAL)

Synopsis
A re-edit of both anime seasons featuring newly added footage and will depict the story of Ichikawa and Yamada after the events of the TV series.

I'm still at chapter 32, but found my way to these comments for a certain reason.

What I've seen in these comments alone (I haven't read this chapter) isn't promising: the naïve thralls of feminism lauding/defending the stronk independent wymyn life (something along the lines of which, if the comments are any indication, Kyoutarou himself encouraged Yamada to pursue) in an industry known WELL for being incompatible with healthy romantic relationships, and NTR fans salivating at the thought of the implications thereof. The overlap is revolting.

If, instead of a heartwarmingly wholesome romance, I only have some Oscarbait-style "bittersweet" ending waiting for me, would it be wise to simply quit where I've reached?

This "we need to restrict your private life for your own well-being/security" reminds me so much of the worst parts of Seiyu Radio no Ura Omote. Given that there's upwards of like 30,000 female idols in Japan (estimated) and there's news stories only a few times a year of any significant stalking, much less harm, it's just not as statistical of a danger as they made it out to be.

Which, no doubt, someone is already seeing that and is being big mad I wrote that and bringing up incidents that have happened and already typing out how dangerous it is (wouldn't be Mangadex comments if that weren't the case). Yeah. Like I said. Statistical outliers.

Realistically, her agency would be much more apprehensive about her dating and that being found out than her going to a school festival.

But, hey, whatever, the plot needs a complication for drama purposes I guess.

I have feeling the end is near :worry:
Personally, I'm still expecting another 5 volumes beyond this, because we have to see this through to graduation, no matter what, and we're still in the middle of fall in the story.

Ichikawa just needs to start carrying a piece. Any stalker/fan gets weird, plug em. Two in the chest, one in the head.
They're in Japan. You can't even possess a knife let alone a gun. (Also, never shoot someone who is on the ground unless they are trying to point a weapon at you. At least in most places where you are even allowed to defend yourself you'll have a lot of explaining to do if you shoot someone who is no longer a threat. Forensics can figure out a lot of what happened from angles and such.)

In 2015, the director of Wakayama City’s Crisis Management Division used a 9-cm-long knife to peel some fruit, after which he, allegedly, mistakenly packed it in his bag. After being questioned by the police due to another, unrelated incident, the officers found his knife and the man was taken into custody. In the end, he had to resign from his position due to the “weapons” arrest.

Double-edged Sword

It might seem strange for Japan to be so strict about blades when they are known around the world for their katanas. But the famous Japanese swords have actually been banned in public since 1876, when the Meiji restoration abolished the warrior class. Even today, katanas are covered by the Swords and Firearms Possession Control Law, which forbids carrying them out in the open.

It’s simple to get a permit to have one in your house because they are easily recognized as works of art, etc. But you can’t carry one outside. Certain internationally recognized masters of sword martial arts like iaido can receive special dispensations to carry genuine katanas with then, but those cases are rare. Most other people make do with blunt aluminum-alloy blades. After they get a permit for them.

You can also petition the government to possess spears, some switchblades, Bowie knives and other assorted blades, but you will similarly have to keep them in your home. A notable exception are double-edged daggers which were banned around the country under the 2008 revision of the Japanese law after they were used during the Akihabara massacre to murder four people. Japanese knife laws may be strict, but no one can argue they don’t exist for a good reason.

I think you are 100 chapters too soon to take that decision. You are not even at the point where Yamada and Ichikawa face their first serious crisis.

Said that, I get your anguish but, somehow, the craftmanship Norio Sakurai has drawn and written this is beyond legendary. I do have that fear Kyotaro ends as a mere supporter/househusband for Anna's success too, but I want to believe author will be able to square the circle.
