Kana is great, but it really is a shame she doesn't seem to be getting any attention. Well, at least she can cheer on Kyo in her own way.

I guess I didn't pay enough attention while reading this the first N times. When Ichikawa's mother says "Your sister being late! She's definitely with a boy~~", Kyoutarou answers "No" because he knows for sure that Kana is not with a boy. He saw her with her friends in the clothing store by accident in chapter 47.
