one thing about this manga that is crazy to me is I feel like the in-world fans and sometimes the authors forget that Yamada is in MIDDLE SCHOOL. She is 13-14 years old, she’s just a kid and there are rumors about her sleeping her way through the industry?!

A lot of the side illustrations sexualizes her a lot too, not just in-universe but by the artist. I’ve been tolerating it since the story is cute, but just need to rant I guess 😔😔😔

I think its so cute that her mother scolded about the sleepover, as she should, but realized how pure the love of Yamada is and is letting her live it.

I think the fans don't know she's in middle school. She's tall and has a relatively mature physique and I don't think the agency goes out of its way to specify her age publicly. As for the side illustrations, I'm guessing it's pretty much a requirement to add this type of art when your manga is published in a shounen magazine. I can't know how the author feels about it, but I'm pretty sure it's not their own initiative.
