Honestly, I'd forgotten about the serialization. Wasn't a huge fan of the art change, but on a second read it feels better. Still lacks the happy go lucky charm of this one.

Both are nice, but I prefer the new, serialisation version.

Since neither this nor its serialization are retreading all the same ground, it's best to read both, instead of speaking of preferences.
