Now we massacre the entirety of those filthy traitorous black elves next
Two things that are dumb.
1. After an tribe/ethnic group commits grand treason and war crimes not once,
but twice, after being pardoned -- it's surprising their entire bloodline isn't summarily put to death.
2. Power scaling in this manhua is all over the place. And the incompetence of the leaders (find, intended to be low audience age but w/e) makes it really hard to read seriously.
In the first few chapters/arcs, it took a genre-twisting and trope-breaking approach. Now, it's turned into Power Rangers. Kinda sad.
Even plot arc elements are forgotten one or two chapters after they're brought up. It's like there are two sets of writers, alternating, who don't talk to each other. You can tell since some episodes have "vertical layout" with large blocks separated in strip format, while other episodes have "manga layout" with traditional multi-pane Letter/A5-sized "pages".
Look back and you can tell the two formats apart quite readily.
